It’s the tallest residential building anywhere in the south of the United States. The 66-storey Aston Martin Residences Miami, a luxury condominium high-rise with views across Miami and the Atlantic Ocean, stands on the waterfront where Miami River meets Biscayne Bay, in one of the Florida city’s most enviable locations.

Designed by Aston Martin and world-leading architect Rodolfo Miani of BMA, it is the British car brand’s first venture into real estate. The amazing, sail-shaped building officially opened during the week of the Miami Grand Prix. Delivered in partnership with property developer G&G Business Developments, 99 per cent of the 391 condominiums have already been sold. Interestingly, 50 of the new residents are owners of Aston Martin cars.

Residents benefit from Aston Martin-designed amenities in many of the public spaces. On four levels between the 52nd and 55th floors – and connected by a striking glass staircase – there is a fitness centre with views of the ocean, an art gallery, two movie theatres, a virtual golf simulator, a business centre and conference room, a kids’ playroom, and a full-service spa, beauty salon and barber shop.

There’s also a beautiful infinity pool with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and Miami’s cityscape. Next to it is a pool deck, jacuzzis, cabanas, a sky bar and lounge, a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, a ballroom and private dining areas.

Aston Martin is also offering a custom interior design service for residents who wish to use the British marque’s famous design style inside their homes.

Marek Reichman, is executive vice president and chief creative officer at Aston Martin. “On one of the last parcels of the Miami waterfront, the ultra-luxury Aston Martin Residence melds a captivating design aesthetic with one of the city’s most idyllic locations,” he says. “Using curvilinear glass and steel and soaring 66 storeys into the sky, the architectural design of the building’s exterior pays homage to the dramatic lines of our high-performance sports cars.”

The building includes seven penthouses, all with private pools and spacious terraces. There’s also a range of one- to five-bedroom residences and duplexes. The jewel in the crown is the ‘Unique Triplex Penthouse’ – a magnificent three-floor condominium, spanning more than 27,000 square feet (2,500 square metres) of living space, right at the pinnacle of the building.
Residents are also able to enjoy direct access to the waterfront via an exclusive superyacht marina. A private butler service will be on-call 24 hours a day.

Buoyed by the success of this new building, Aston Martin continues to develop other ultra-luxury residential projects, including one in New York State and another in Japan.
